What To Expect

We were all  new, at one time, and we remember what it was like. So we've provided the information below, knowing that it's easier to venture into a new place when you know what to expect.

Our congregation spans a range of ages and backgrounds. The pastors on-stage dress conservatively, but you'll see people in the pews dressed in all styles—from jeans to business suits. Our worship style is “blended"—we love to worship to contemporary tunes while also pulling out the traditional hymns from time to time.

Each service lasts for around one and a half hours. Near the beginning, pastor will encourage you to greet the people sitting around you, our motto at FWC is "Where Friends Become Family".

We have a variety of age appropriate classes for children from birth to age 12.  Your children are welcome to stay in service with you however, we would love to encourage them to come meet some new friends.

Getting connected at Family Worship Center is about relationships that get beneath the surface. Those kinds of relationship won’t come simply by attending worship services. They take time.

One way to get connected is to join a connection fellowship group.  We have something for everyone.  These are available for all ages—children, youth, college, men, women, middlers and senior citizens.

Serving others also deepens your relationship with God and people. We offer a variety of service opportunities that will connect you with a team of staff and volunteers who work together in serving others and God.

Finally, you can engage with others through life learning and growth and recovery programs. From managing money to building a stronger marriage, these programs will help you know God and build relationships with His people.

If you have questions about Family Worship Center, please ask the volunteers at the Welcome Center in the bookstore, or ask a "greeter" or a "usher".
